Road Kill...........Warning To The Weak Of Stomach

Warning to all watchers. If you are squeamish and don’t like the sight of disgusting road kill then look no further. This blog is specifically for Mike Hyde. AKA Twisting Throttle or Bubbles to those in the know. He has been at us for some time to post pictures of interesting road kill while on this trip. If you read his books, both Twisting Throttle Australia and Twisting Throttle America, you will see Mike in some interesting poses with varies road kill he has come across.

We have come across road kill but have waited until we could find the most gross to satisfy Mike's thirst for such things.

Now be warned again, do not look if you find such things sickening.

This road kill is completely disfigured, disembowelled and has been run over many times by road traffic and has even been dragged by the look of it. If you look hard you can even see some tyre marks on its skin. Its hard to tell the head from the tail but it is usually about a foot long in real life. We cant tell if it is a native to this country but we have seen a few around on our travels. You are lucky that you can not smell what we could as we took the picture. We tried to move it to a better position on the road side for the photo but it was so decomposed that it began to fall apart so we had to just take the photo from where it was, all the time dodging the traffic and shrugging off the strange looks coming from those inside their vehicles.
