Singapore to Chile

Today the bike was loaded onto the ship 'Howrah Bridge', strange name for a ship.
I'm sure 'Twisting Throttle' will know the answer to that one, eh Mike. It leaves on Friday for Chile. With a few stops between, it is expected to arrive on the 24 September all going well. Kelly from 'Anglo Pacific International', our shipping agent, has been marvelous in keeping us informed as to what is happening and where the bike is at any given time. At least now the bike is heading in the right direction. I'm only hoping the battery is up to the task of starting the beast after near six weeks of inactivity in a crate. Fingers crossed.

Donald & Annette - have you seen CNN online today? Apparently a ship called Howdy Fridge (or something like that) went down in a storm near the Philippines with all containers lost overboard. It may not be your ship though. Pity that most insurance policies don't cover "acts of God". Lucky you've got a carnet though.
