Chile Still

Well Mike ,how correct you can be. The bike did get shipped north and will now not be here till the 6 October. I need to know your source and how much it cost you.Seems it has been placed on another ship in Puson to come to Valpariso and our shipping agent in NZ was not informed. Lucky the hostel we are staying in helps bikers with customs and importation of bikes so they know what is happening and have kept us informed.
So for the next two weeks we will be bus passengers and head over the Andes to Argentina and take in some of the places north east on Argentina's East coast and that way we can stay riding close to the Andes on our way back up Argentina. Now on South American time.

Guys. Support HQ have just received a call from a Mrs Valery Paraiso from Chilean customs. This is what she said: "Va a usted dos por favor pare stop buggerising around alrededor y venga y recoja su moto. Usted motociclistas del Sido Darko es todo igual! V. Paraiso" We checked our Chilean-English dictionary and what the story seems to be is that the KTM has been off-loaded in a place called 'Quito'. Not sure where that is but apparently when Donald filled out the shipping manifest in the box for 'Destination' he just wrote 'Not sure but it's in South America and ends in o'. Hope that helps. Support HQ out.

Actually, we now know the bloody bike ended up in South Korea not South America. It apparently has changed ships unbeknown to our shipping company. We just hope it hasn´t been swapped for a Hyosang!!! We have just learned it will arrive on the 7th Oct this year, and will cost us nearly 120,000 Chilean Pesos to get it back. Meanwhile there is a lot to be said for South American buses! At least they arrive on time.
